Buhle Samuels Faces Fraud Charges Over Birthday Porsche

Former “Muvhango” actress Buhle Samuels is in legal trouble, facing charges of fraud and forgery. The allegations relate to a luxury Porsche SUV she showcased on Instagram as a birthday gift.

The 35-year-old star – known for her role as Matshidiso on the popular soap opera – allegedly falsified corporate documents and forged signatures to secure the high-end vehicle.

The Porsche – which gained significant attention online – has since been seized by authorities as evidence in the ongoing investigation. Samuels appeared at the Alexandra Magistrates Court in Johannesburg, Gauteng, on Wednesday, 23 April, and is set to return for further hearings on 16 May.

Despite the charges, the actress has denied any wrongdoing, maintaining that the allegations are false.

Aside from “Muvhango”, Samuels has appeared in “Imbewu: The Seed” and “Kings of Joburg” on Netflix, further cementing her place in the South African entertainment industry.

Also a singer and social media influencer, the local celeb has built an online persona based on luxury and success. Her posts, which often feature designer outfits and exotic vacations, have earned her a partnership with Hendrick’s Gin.
